I heard a rumor that you can read all the back issues online, does anyone know where? I would like to read Amazing Fantasy issue 15 but don't have an extra 30 grand laying around and don't know anyone I could borrow it from.

Yes, the Essentials are great! My only complaint is that they are in black and white. I'd love to see the originals in all their colored glory, but I can only imagine....

No need to spend $30,000 just to read the issue. I did a quick check on eBay and you can purchase Amazing Fantasy #15 reprints for almost nothing.

I myself own three Marvel Comic Series 'Pocket Books' with the complete story (in color) to Amazing Fantasy #15 as well as The Amazing Spiderman issues #1 through #20. These can't be worth much at all either. You could do a search for these and probably find them easily.

Here's an eBay link to a reprint of Amazing Fantasy #15:
http://cgi.ebay.com/aw-cgi/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem& item=1185034991

Current price is less than $6.00. This is the first one I found, after looking less than a minute. Certainly there are many more.

Amazing Fantasy 15 is available in reprint under the title 'Marvel Milestone Edition'. It has all the original material (additional story, ads) unlike the Essential Spider-Man books. I would highly recommend those as well,

If memory serves me correctly Marvel Tales #137 reprints Amazing Fantasy #15 (at least the Spider-man story) as well as the origin of Dr. Strange. After that all the issues are are printed in order up to number 50 including Annuals #1-3! These are fairly cheap and millions were printed and available at many online shops and auctions and maybe even your local comic shop (call around to find out) if you want to buy a few issues at a time and not pay shipping and have them immediately.

Yes but are the comics on line? It would be much nicer to read them online.
