Does Marvel have official plans to extend their trade paperback 'Essential Spider-Man' collections beyond Volume 5? I have these, and several other trade series, and want to know if anyone has an inside scoop.

I must say that, at the ripe old age of 53, I'm enjoying getting re-acquainted with Peter, Gwen, Harry, Aunt May, MJ, Flash, and the rich cast of supporting super-villains.

So there is an issue #5? Is it new, as I've never seen it. I have only up to #4. What issues does #5 cover? I hope they keep going!

'Essential Spidey 5' is a reprint of ASM Issues 90-113.

The stories include such events as Captain Stacy's death, the first appearance of Morbius, Spidey's appearance on the Johnny Carson Show, and the set-up for the Gwen Stacy-Green Goblin final saga.

Technically, it also marks the introduction of Gerry Conway's stories, and great John Romita - Gil Kane art. One of the best collections to date. The black-and-white renderings give the stories a very 'film noir' feel.

We want more!!!
