I went and saw the spider man movie and it was really good but some stuff was way off like the webbing in the comic he created the webshooter but the movie he got it because of the spider bite that wasn't as bad as the way uncle Ben died it didn't seem that he shouldn't have died in a carjacking it seemed braver in the comic he defended his home from the robber.

I don't know why the movies always go away from the comics... unless they didn't like portions of the comic?

But what are the odds of the robber getting to Peter's house in reality? I thought the carjacking worked well - Ben was going to pick Peter up, so he was in the area. It made sense...

IMHO, that is what makes this movie so good. In every case where they digress from the comic, it makes sense. Even the bit where Peter lets the robber go by
