If they have the lizard (yawn, yawn) in the next Spiderman movie they can forget about no. 3. Have instead The sandman, doc Ock etc . And what an insult, they had macy gray some talentless whiner on for at least half a minute. But only had STAN on for a nano second, if youd have 1/4 blinked youd have missed him. All what he's done for Marvel. Oh and they just had to muck about with the Origin. It all has to be watered down for the lowest possible denomimator public consumsion. You see it'll be the same thing with the Hulk movie, instead of a full gamma ray exposure to a gamma ray bomb, we'll be lucky if banner gets covered in processed pees from a can of pees exploding in a microwave oven.

As far as I know they already ruled out the Lizard in Spiderman 2. It's supposed to be just Doc Ock.

Why? Because the Batman movies had two villians? We know where that went, don't we? Seems to me that that would show a tendency to base the Spider-Man movies on the same pattern for the Batman movies, which takes away from its originality.

In actual fact there WILL be two villains in Spiderman 2, which, incidentally will be titled 'The Amazing Spiderman' Featured will be Alfred Molina in the role of Doc. Octopus and James Franco reprising his role as Harry Osbourne/Hobgoblin.
You can read the story for yourself at <a target='_blank' rel=nofollow rel="nofollow" href='http://www.zap2it.com/movies/news/story/0,1259

Oops there is actually no reference to Harry Osbourne being the Hobgoblin in that article, only that he would be a villain. I guess I just kinda assumed that. Sry :-P

He's also not the Hobgoblin, that's Ned Leeds/Rodereck Kingsley/whoever the hell he is. Harry Osborn is the second Green Goblin.
