Everyone is praising the new villian, but I just don't like him so far.
He's just TOO invincible. I've never thought that villain that are THAT unstoppable are very interesting.
Take Doomsday from Superman...he's just unstoppable. What's the fun of

I think it's just to get us interested in this villian because it makes us think that 'oh wow, Morlun's really kicking Spidey's butt and he's in deep sh*t. What's he gonna do?' He'll stop him one way or another, because he has to, he's the hero.

yeah i hear what you're saying. i thought doomsday was just a pathetic character with no imagination or creativity behind him. 'big monster destroy' thats all he was. what i like about morlun however is that while he is, or seems, invincble he is an interesting character with what could be a very rich and interesting background. he's also refined and has a method and logic behind his destruction. while he is just beating spideys ass he's also playing mind games with him. grabbing the kid and throwing him is a great example. so what i like about morlun is that while he's an unstopple foe he also is an intruging character. he actually kinda reminds of venom when he first appeared. an unbeatable foe that scared the crap out of spidey but forced spidey to use his brains to beat him.

He kinda reminds me of a pulp fiction version of the vampire Lestat.

Unstoppable baddies always make the good guy think instead of just trying to duke it out.
