Yep, I was gonna post about it last night but didn't get around to it. I got it on the FOX network. It was on a commercial break during Temptation Island 2. Thanks to this news posted on Sony's Spider-Man website, I taped it and fast-forwarded thru the show TO the commercials.

So, now that we have a little something to discuss about on this NG, what did everyone think of the new trailer? Was it better than the 1st trailer with the helicopter and the WTC towers? I saw a lot of people didn't care for it at the time it was released. It was kinda far-fetched, and really just like an extended teaser trailer, but overall I was still excited to see it then. But now, this 2nd trailer really has my hopes up for a fantastic movie! It was great!

I agree, Toby makes an excellent Peter Parker. I like William Dafoe as Norman Osborn too, actually.

i agree... had my doubts until I saw an interview and his updated body.

I really like the explanation of how he can climb walls. The sticky hands and feet thing never really worked for me, especially since Spidey wears gloves and shoes.

The trailer is awesome, but I can't get it to save in my temp files. I have a slow connection and the Real Player and Windows Media versions are streaming media so I can't get the high quality ones. Quicktime is the only one that will let me download, then watch, but I can't save it. Does anyone have a copy saved? Or know where I can get one? I want the high quality format if I can get it. I don't care how big the file is, I'll take the time to download it. I'll trade the WTC one for it if you need it.

There's a downloadable MPEG version here: http://www.movie-list.com/s/spider-man.shtml It's 27.4 MB on what seems to be a slow server, might be my connection of course. Judging by the name of the file ('spiderman480.mpg', it should be high quality.

Yeah, that's something new. Like the organic webbing. That's still the story, right? No webshooters? It seems they are going to try to make things as realistic as possible, like the 'magic sticky hands and feet'. Yeah, I never was able to comprehend that either, I just accepted it without a fuss.

<Sigh> It's going to seem so long before May 3rd arrives....

I hate streaming downloads. It's so damn irritating when there's the video stored in your RAM and you can't save it. I'm sure there's away around it. (Besides finding a saveable download elsewhere.)
