If you got an offer of 5 long, I'd take it fast before he sobers up.

And this, folks, is why you shouldn't trust online comic sellers, unless they are reputable.

I hope the person who offered you $500 realizes their error before they fully commit themselves. Also, if that picture is truly a scan on the copy you possess, then it definitely isn't worth $90. Judging by the visible creases on the edges, I wouldn't grade the copy higher than 'Good' (which is the lowest quality any experienced comic buyer would buy) and wouldn't pay more than $5-$6 (this being the absolute maximum) for it. But then again, I don't typically let movie hype sway my better judgment.

In the end, however, as with any collectible, it's worth whatever someone will pay for it.

I'm sorry, but this book is not in mint condition. There are apparent crease marks in at least 3 places, unless it is in a really crappy bag. There is also damage to the upper left hand corner. Along the right hand edge of the cover there is damage.

This is not a mint book.

There's NO way that's mint. It's in Good condition at best, maybe even Poor.

Why didn't you include the picture of the Mint book, then. The one shown in your original post is nowhere near mint. In the upper right hand corner, there are 2 noticeable folds, and a larger fold in the lower right hand corner. There are serious staple dimples along the spine, and obvious signs of wear. There are also serious imperfections on the right hand side. This book is Good at best.

It most certainly is a crease. I've been around enough comics in my life to know the difference between a crease and the egde of a picture. I'm talking about the diagonal lines that run from one edge of the picture to another. There is more damage to the book, in addition to the creases and noticable spine damage, enough damage to say with certainty that this is not a Mint condition book
