So what was the original story script about? Someone posted a comment on how it was a strong script and it got me wondering. Was it a 'rough draft' of the final movie or totally different or what?

I accidentally read the entire James Cameron script treatment. I say accidentally because I thought I'd just browse over the first 2 or 3 paragraphs but it was SOoo good in typical James Cameron non-stop fluid style I read the whole thing online somewhere! If I ever remember where I'll let this group know but it was VERY good.
Frankly from what I've seen of the Raimi trailer I don't think it was necessarily better just apples to oranges. Cameron had Electro as the bad guy and the way he presented electro was pretty amazing, very real tough a billionair business man, italian suit wearing bad ass.
Also if you like Cameron's other non stop story expansion style movies such as Aliens, T2, you would like his version.
Still after seeing Raimi's new trailer I don't think on is better than the other just different!
