here's another.
Doc Ock, Vulture, Sandman, Bull(??) a big brutish guy if I remember right; a touch short in the brains department, Montana (southern U.S., short and slim, used a lassoo, smoked a cheroot), and this is the one I'm not certain about - Mysterio. I have this vague memory of his sitting in the same cell with the other 5, after Spidey won the day. Like a regular jail cell, too!! I think it even had a small window with bars!! Good thing Steve Ditko drew it. Anyway Green Goblin came along later in John Romita's day, as did Kraven some time after that. Hobgoblin wasn't even a gleam in anybody's eye back

I had thought so too so I checked out a website (http://www.samruby.com/) and found the covers of the appearances.
Perhaps Chameleon shows up later in the second version. He might even be masquarading as one of the others early on.
I lost alot of interest in Spidey around that time.
