Im not a 'diehard' fan of the comic, or any comic for that matter, but I know the basics.
I saw the movie last night and it was well worth the price of admission. I am not well versed enough in the comics storylines to pick apart every minor 'flaw' in the film, so I wont do that. I just know that I went in expecting a good film about Spiderman and I left satisfied.
Anyway...
My favorite charechter from the comic is Venom and I know if they do many sequals they will have to incorporate him into the story. I was ver pleased that Eddie Brock was 'kinda sorta' mentioned.
It seems that, if it actually happens, the next films villian will be Harry- in a 'bitter son attempts revenge on the man who killed his father' story- and it would be stupid of them to end the film they way they did without using Harry in that role the next time around.
My question: When will they use Venom, and how may they go about putting him into the film (I doubt theyd do the symbiote/ space suit storyline exactly the way it is in the comics, but they cant just say 'Hey, Eddie Brock is pissed off and look at what he can do !'

?
The Brock/ Venom story, in my opinion, is one of the best storys to be told but it will be hard for the filmakers to put it in the film without pissing off comic fans or going over the heads of the general public.
Thank you for your time,
