TRIVIA QUESTION

Once in a while a friend of mine and I will get into Trivia questions and his today was on Spider-man and I need help with this and just maybe someone can help me out here. He went and saw the Spider-man movie and is asking the 64,000 question....who did the 'way back' machine belong to??? Way back machine in Spider-man? I think someone got their wires crossed. The only way back machine I ever heard of was the one employed by Mr. Peabody and his boy Sherman in the cartoon featured in Bullwinkle and Rocky. Sir Barb

Mr. Peabody and his boy Sherman had the way-back machine. They used to be on with Tennessee Tuxedo and Chumley who were always trying to escape from the Zoo.

I don't get that as a reference to Spider-man. It was the ROCKY THE FLYING SQUIRREL Show though Bullwinkle became such a popular character it was later called THE ROCKY & BULLWINKLE Show.

Peabody was a cartoon series about a time-travelling dog and his pet boy, Sherman. Using Peabody's 'Wayback Machine', the pair would take jaunts through history, and usually wind up instrumental in making events come out 'right', i.e., the way they're depicted in history books. The 91 four-and-a-half-minute episodes always ended with atrocious puns.
