I read #1 and I have to say it's the worst comic I've seen with a price tag on it. It's going for about 75 dollars too, it's just because it's a number one, right? Who calls this writing the best in a long while?? The artist can't draw reactionary shots on his characters to save his life, and Bendis is a complete idiot. For me, this is why I gave up on comics. I'm sorry if anyone takes this personally.

Thank you for your good mannered-ness, because you know, some people do take it personally. I thought MJ was written as a huge bimbo 'OMG! It SO was!'

Re: Graphic Novels, are you speaking about Frank Miller? I always find his art fresh and different, though not the best.

To tell you the truth the reason I like the comic is pretty easy for me to describe. Simply put I have read these stories before. They are pretty true to the originals. What I like is seeing the interesting changes made to them to bring the story to a new generation of Spidey fans. I think they do the job admirably. Spider-Man is the hottest thing out there right now and is slowly but surely gaining a new audience. I applaud Marvel for trying to stay with the times but keep to the original as much as they can. Bravo Marvel. Take a bow.

Later,

Kyle

I disagree with you.

I love the new treatment. It is nice to see how they make it work in today's world. I also like the way the story arcs seem to take a more realistic time to complete. I loved the way they played out the spider bite and the length of time it takes for peter to become spider man and how the web shooter is played in and everything...it is great.... g

Not bad. not the best thing ever to appear with the Spider-man name, but then again it's far from original in more than a few ways. Not too bad
