I don't recall who the character was, but it was one of the near-omnipotent types who once told Spider-man that he was more powerful than he realized, though there has been, to my knowlege, no further development on the subject. He also said that in the grand theme of things Spider-man was extremely important to the universe. Though I have no wish to see a Superman-level Spider-man, I would like to see just what was meant by that.
