Just to kibbitz; I believe you refer to Gwen Stacy dying, rather than MJ. MJ is married to Peter, now.
On a related note, when the hell did Aunt May become not dead!? There was a beautifully done story where she died of basic old age, and Peter dealt with it and it was great! But now she's BACK? Okay, I've been away from comics for a couple of years, and everything's turned upside down!

It is much like the return of Norman Osborne as the Green Goblin which turns the whole Gwen Stacy death of green goblin thing into a trivial thing. mackie has succesfully taken some of the greatest events in spider-man history and made them worthless
