Your Opinions on the Spider-Man Movie

I just want to share opinions with you all on the spiderman movie. When my brother first told me that toby mcguire was cast as peter, my first thought was 'who?' He then told me that it was the guy from the movie 'Pleasantville'. I just couldn't see him as peter. However, after watching the movie, I couldn't image anyone else as peter parker. What do you all think of macguires' portrayal of peter?

I too was a bit skeptical at the casting, but once I saw the movie I could not imagine anyone else in the part. Maguire just nails this part perfectly

I thought he would be perfect from the get go. Toby is a very skilled actor and just looks perfect for being Peter Parker.

I was just the same way when I heard of Tobey Maguire playing Peter. I never even heard of him. Now I am a great fan and I think he is perfect for the part of Peter.

Excellent. And Willem Dafoe was always good at playing derranged lunatics. Just saw him in Shadow of the Vampire...speaking of which, John Malkovich acts a bit on the crazy side too... Er anyways...I was expecting this movie to be goofy...it turned out to be one of my favorite movies of all time. I saw Attack of the Clones, and then Spiderman...and then Spiderman again and again...I just got AotC and Spiderman on DVD and I bet you can guess which one I watch the most...I like Bruce Campbell too...I kept looking out for Xena but...who knows? Could Lucy Lawless play a character Spiderman knew? Anyone?
